BMU and RCP Collaboration Meeting Held
A collaboration meeting for the MRCP (PACES) Examination was held today, November 10, 2025, under the initiative of Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) and Royal College of Physicians (RCP). This effort will be marked as an important milestone in the journey of strengthening international academic cooperation and further enriching postgraduate medical education in Bangladesh.This important meeting reflects the joint commitment to support doctors in participating in international examinations such as MRCP, so that doctors from this country can get this opportunity in their own country and can be free from the various complications of traveling abroad.
The joint meeting held at the conference room of BMU's Super Specialized Hospital was attended by Dr. Stuart Hood, Medical Director for Assessment, MRCP (UK), Royal College of Physicians (RCP). The meeting was chaired by BMU's Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Shahinul Alam. The meeting was attended by BMU's Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research and Development) Professor Dr. Md. Mujibur Rahman Howlader, Treasurer Professor Dr. Nahrin Akhtar, Dean Professor Dr. Md. Shamim Ahmed, Professor Dr. Md. Atiar Rahman, Professor Dr. Saif Ullah Munshi, Dr. Sakhawat Hossain, Registrar Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Chairman of the Oncology Department Professor Dr. Syed Md. Akram Hossain, Bangladesh Federation of Royal College of Physicians Professor Dr. Kazi Tariqul Islam, BMU Internal Medicine Department Chairman Professor Dr. Sohel Mahmud Arafat, Professor Dr. Md.
